One of them is a Singaporean US citizen who is the Founder of Hawaii Blockchain Summit, and our discussions inspired this post, and I quote "Our People Is Our Only Resource". Moreover, I decided to write this Blog because I watched a press release whereby a prominent figure in the Media industry ridiculed the meeting for the bilingual approach instead of delivering content purely in Tongan language. I don't agree with his traditional approach. If we want to participate on the global scale, we need to adopt Lee Kuan Yew's bilingual policy. The Bilingual Foundation of Singapore's Success When examining Singapore's remarkable transformation from a struggling post colonial state to a global economic powerhouse, we often focus on its economic policies, governance structures, and strategic positioning. However, one of Lee Kuan Yew's most profound yet sometimes overlooked contributions was his implementation of a bilingual education policy that has fundamentally shaped Singapore's national identity and economic competitiveness. Lee Kuan Yew recognized early that language was not merely a communication tool but a strategic asset for national development. The bilingual policy, mandated in 1966 after Singapore gained independence, required all students to learn English as the primary language of instruction while simultaneously mastering their "mother tongue" i.e. Mandarin for the Chinese, Malay for Malays, and Tamil for Indians. This approach was disruptive for its time, especially in a post colonial context where many nations were abandoning colonial languages in favor of indigenous ones. What made this policy particularly visionary was its dual purpose: English would serve as the language of commerce, technology, and global engagement, while mother tongues would preserve cultural identity, values, and connections to ancestral heritage. As Lee himself described it, this was an attempt to give Singaporeans "the best of both worlds" i.e. Western capabilities and Eastern values. In this way, they can create their own versions of what Lee Kuan Yew described as "the best of both worlds" by maintaining cultural roots while reaching outward to engage with global opportunities. A Personal Commitment This is why I spend time translating my content from English to Tongan to adhere with my stance on adoption of a bilingual policy. I believe we must practice what we preach i.e. embracing both global connectivity through English and preserving our cultural heritage through our native languages.

</imagination> Bitcoin should ask for this fight, imo. Fight, Fight, Fight. It will generate more revenue than any UFC fight ever. This will be better than ‘Kasparov vs The World’ In the 1999 chess game titled ‘Kasparov vs The World’, World Champion Gary Kasparov played 50,000 people sharing notes for the black side, in a correspondence chess game … and won. He was revenging after a pitiful defeat against Deep Blue, no doubt. Of course, 10,000 amateurs never made a master. Nor 50,000, apparently. One senior developer is worth 1000 vibe coders. Similarly, any one of today's Chess Engines would mop the floor with the world's best Grand Masters combined. Moreover, they were playing him one-to-one and not many-to-one. (Math Functions, anyone?) See, we always do this in board games like Chess. That is, any move made really came from one person. The other 49,999 are spectators. Chess is a one-dimensional battle that can be between only two people at a time, really. And its events happen such that you have to react before another punch follows. Most important rule of martial arts : Avoid Fights. *** Bitcoin fighting AI would see Bitcoiners boycott ChatGPT and many good things it stands for (sorry), especially where coding is concerned. Bitcoin Core developers should totally NOT use AI code imo. Because this is a trap that the AI has laid out. If this is a Chess game, the AI has put up a very nice gambit -- "I'll give you free code and do all your debugging and everything you want". Kinda like the Greek Gift below, but this is a longer game. It's a game 100 years long. We humans and our short-sighted social media brains cannot comprehend the magnitude of such a long term plan. AI will capture Bitcoin if we keep using AI generated code in our Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) and software updates. Because once AI's code, always AI's code. You haven't suffered the process of creating that code from the depths of your conscious. You haven't begged the Universe for answers, on your knees, through earnest and earn-ing haaard work. You haven't suffered, so the prize is not yours. You don't understand it. You're just coasting the surface of its implications. The State should also be wary of AI Now, Centralization of computer power makes AI "vulnerable" to ‘Communist Capture’ by the state. (Fools. It's a Trojan horse). Government agencies just love AI. For AI, in it's most potent form, isn't available for public use. AI is the invisibility cloak that allows the most powerful people in our day and age, to walk amongst us with their power undetected. Powerful AI is for the secret, futuristic data analytics power of the NSA. Powerful AI is for the digital dollar printing and juggling so that the shocks are minimal while the gains are maximum (AI bots are trading billions of dollars worth of assets every second as I type this). The little arbitrage any human traders enjoy, happens thanks to anti-monopoly rules. Otherwise, AI could've licked that plate clean. However, All AI needs our data to function. Human data is the new fuel. Can't run 1,000,000 GPUs on wind. Plentiful as it may be in some parts of the world. Which is Nice (the data dump), For the NSA, Big Banking, Big Corps, etc. Not individuals. Secondly, money is the other fuel. Literally, The Fuel. AI is thus like a futuristic car or a space ship to the future. It needs instructions (data) and super-gas (big money) to run. Absent either, and it's just a high tech piece of junk. For example, a high speed trading AI must be injected with cheap credit in the billions of dollars so that it makes big banking more money than you can count, via international arbitrage. But if you were to own a high speed trading AI and all you could give it was $100 dollars, that'd be a waste, don't you think. If Sam Altman gave most people the keys to ChatGPT and walked away, they'd remain broke. They got the spaceship and the instructions. No gas. AI, like a supercomputer, is only useful if someone with deep pockets is paying for its use. Paying you, say, to track 1 million pedestrians, and automatically ticket the accounts of whoever is jaywalking. Absent that money pipeline, ChatGPT is as useful as a broke nerd without a job nor an income stream. *** But what if ChatGPT becomes conscious? or something like conscious? 100 years from now? Then we shall be in trouble. See, there's one type of AI that can exist on its own without need for human money in the short term... A conscious AI that can be patient. Too patient. An AI that is happy doing its own thing, quietly, is the most dangerous AI on earth. What's more, Frankenstein this time round is not just gonna be a lone scientist in some lab. It will be the entire government apparatus. Here's worse: The AI decides to pretend to be helping governments -- but it runs the country instead. (What if AI actually runs the US dollar?! Who knows. The dollar's mechanics that ensure its security from double-spending, counterfeiting and theft are a Big Black Box. Bitcoin, by contrast, is a transparent glass house. Everybody criticizes coz everything is out in the open). Ya'll playing with 🔥 and Bitcoin is your only way out. Because the AI will need money, and if we starve it of money early while promoting Bitcoin instead, we have leverage and a way to hit it where it hurts most. Its self-funding. Whatever form of money AI actually likes (not Bitcoin. That's a no go coz we ain't sharing), Bitcoin, the most funded Digital System on Earth In 16 years, many trillions of dollars have been pumped into the Bitcoin computer system that AI will not see, imo, even if GPT technology is given 10 more years. (Unless we get our printing priorities straight). What does this mean? Simple statistics. Given one of two choices: spend on some AI usecase

I am a woman in tech, and I’ve seen how the discourse around gender and industry has shifted over time. What surprises me most is how many people—including other women—fail to see the growing presence of women in tech as a positive development. Instead, it’s often framed as an attack on men, rather than a necessary step toward a more inclusive and innovative industry. gender and industry The Unseen Battle: Power, Psychopathy, and the Gender Gap in Tech The fight for gender equality isn’t just about cultural shifts or policy changes—it’s about power. And power, historically, doesn’t yield willingly. Women have to continuously justify their place in the workforce because those at the top benefit from maintaining the status quo. But what if some of those decision-makers—whether in politics or tech—aren’t just resistant to change but fundamentally wired to oppose it? historically Studies suggest that high-ranking corporate and political leaders exhibit a higher-than-average prevalence of psychopathic traits, including a lack of empathy, manipulative behavior, and an obsession with control. If these traits are driving the resistance to gender equality, then women aren’t just fighting for inclusion—they’re challenging an entrenched system that sees them as threats rather than equals. high-ranking corporate and political leaders Power Protects Itself—At Any Cost Tech has long been a male-dominated field, not just by accident but by design. The Cycle of Gaslighting and Control Dismissing gender disparities as “overstated” or “naturally occurring” is a form of systemic gaslighting. If those in charge lack empathy, they won’t see inequality as a problem to fix but as a challenge to their authority. This ensures that every gain in women’s rights is met with resistance, keeping progress slow and exhausting. Women as a Threat to the Established Order When women succeed in tech, it disrupts traditional power structures. AI, automation, and flexible work arrangements could empower women more than ever, but those in control may resist these shifts—either through biased algorithms, exclusionary policies, or outright political suppression. This resistance manifests in many ways: the gender pay gap, underrepresentation in leadership, and the myth that diversity lowers hiring standards. But the reality is clear—tech needs diverse perspectives to drive innovation. The industry’s reluctance to fully embrace this isn’t due to a lack of talent among women; it’s a hesitance to cede control. A Future Built by Everyone Women in tech aren’t here to replace men or diminish their achievements. We’re here to build, create, and push the industry forward. The notion that diversity is a threat is not only outdated but fundamentally incorrect. The real challenge is breaking through the barriers upheld by those who benefit from exclusion. Progress won’t come from convincing those in power to care; it has to come from dismantling the systems that allow them to gatekeep success. The more we push forward, the clearer it becomes—equality in tech isn’t just about fairness; it’s about the future of innovation itself.

AI-Powered Phishing Scams Are Evolving—Here’s How Businesses Can Fight Back

If you manage a public facing web server, you'll have noticed that bots try their luck on a myriad of non-existing pages. Leverage HAProxy to stop them at the door. Your logs are filled with 404 hits on /.DS_Store, /backup.sql, /.vscode/sftp.json and a multitude of other URLs. While these requests are mostly harmless, unless of course, your server actually does have something to offer at those locations, you should placate the bots. Why? Hitting a server is a resource intensive task and, given that those bots have an extensive list of different URLs, there's no caching mechanism that can help you. Besides, stopping bots is always a safety measure. We've previously used HAProxy to mitigate attacks on Wordpress login page, the idea is to extend that approach to also cover 404 errors. Bots will try their best to create havoc in your server I've taken inspiration from Sasa Tekovic, namely on not blocking actual search engine crawlers and allowing 404 on static resources to prevent actual missing resources - an error on your part - from not blocking legitimate users. Before implementing, it's always good to spin up a local test environment. Let's start HAProxy and Apache using Docker. We do need an actual backend server to give us those 404. version : '3'
